Ottobre 04-2008-30 "Drums" hooded raglan-sleeve T-shirt - made as a plain fleece sweater / jumper for school (in grey school uniform colours!) SIZE 134
"Drums" Hooded raglan-sleeve T-shirt
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
No - but only because I made it as a sweater / jumper without a hood and made in fleece.....
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Usual Ottobre rubbish of "look at pattern 26A for these instructions, look at page X for those intructions and for the last bit read these instructions..."! However as without the hoodie there are only 6 seams, no need for instructions....
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Raglan sleeve style which match the school uniform sweater style.
"T-shirt" section made and then hood added on - so really easy to adapt to be without the hood
Grey fleece and grey ribbing
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
1. No hood
2. Made as a sweater - so added ribbing at hem (should have cut ribbing for hem and cuff shorter)
3.Made with fleece not jersey
1. Sew front sleeves to front
2. Sew back sleeves to back
3. Sew side seams
4 Sew on all ribbing
Easy as pie - super fast including tracing!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes - I will make in a smaller size for the middle boy and again other sizes as they grow... may even try it out as a T-shirt!
Lovely Raglan sleeve pattern which is super fast to put together. (Although I DID only made half the pattern as I missed out the hood!)
